VERDICT NEWS: EASTON NYC SHOOT
Sup y'all...so keep your eyes peeled to the Verdict Blog and the Easton Lacrosse site to see the pay-off from last week's commercial shoot in Brooklyn. Easton assembled a real-deal production team to shoot Easton Lacrosse's first commercial/viral video, which will be up in the near future. On hand was director Evan Bernard (who directed the Beastie Boys' 'Root Down' and is also immortalized in the song 'ill communication: 'Drivin' the lane like I was Evan Bernard.')
After two freezing days outside in the BKLYN we moved into a soundstage and captured some sweet ultra slo-mo stuff. We also got a drop-in from Jack McBrayer, who plays 'Kenneth' on NBC's 30Rock.
All in all, an awesome week. Stay tuned!

VISUAL STIMULI: THE 'TED' COMMANDMENTS
At a recent conference, TED founder Richard Saul Wurman dropped the 'TED Commandments' on the audience. Pretty good advice for anyone involved in a creative endeavor.
The TED Commandments
Thou Shalt Not Simply Trot Out thy Usual Shtick
Thou Shalt Not Simply Trot Out thy Usual Shtick
Thou Shalt Dream a Great Dream, or Show Forth a Wondrous New Thing, Or Share Something Thou Hast Never Shared Before
Thou Shalt Reveal thy Curiosity and Thy Passion
Thou Shalt Tell a Story
Thou Shalt Freely Comment on the Utterances of Other Speakers for the Sake of Blessed Connection and Exquisite Controversy
Thou Shalt Not Flaunt thine Ego. Be Thou Vulnerable. Speak of thy Failure as well as thy Success.
Thou Shalt Not Sell from the Stage: Neither thy Company, thy Goods, thy Writings, nor thy Desparate need for Funding; Lest Thou be Cast Aside into Outer Darkness.
Thou Shalt Remember all the while: Laughter is Good.
Thou Shalt Not Read thy Speech.
Thou Shalt Not Steal the Time of Them that Follow Thee
