Dick Clark, 1952
The late great Philippe Halsman was the man back in the day when it came to high profile portraiture. Widely known for his work with Salvador Dali, I came across a set of his 'jump' photos and was taken aback. Halsman was known for ending each session by asking his subjects to get some air...the result is some great pics of some greater people in mid air. Awesome.
