CHECK THIS ARTIST: DARREN GOODMAN

Artisans of Lake Erie: Darren Goodman from The Erie Wire | Mad River Studio on Vimeo.

This video article, done by The Erie Wire, features Ohio based artist Darren Goodman, and shows him creating a blown glass piece at the Glass Pavilion for the Toledo Museum of Art. There is a certain allure to watching a demonstration of this particular form of art being shaped into existence.

CHECK THIS ARTIST: TSANG CHEUNG-SHING

Tsang Cheung-Shing isn't a photographer; rather, he's an incredibly talented ceramic artist all the way from Hong Kong. I came across "Yuan Yang II" (I refer to the piece as "cafe au kiss") the other day, and I was completely blown away. I wish this is what happened when I drank coffee! This piece was on exhibition at the Hong Kong Airport and is part of the Hong Kong Museum of Art.

VERDICT WORK: MPW SCULPTURE

After my stint in NYC, I was able to get upstate and shoot with famed artist Mary Pat Wager in her studio. Above is a little comp I put togther showcasing a few of her pieces in and around her workspace. Very cool.
